Sebastian Bode is the Director of Engineering at the Cardano Foundation where he leads Engineering and Integration Teams. Applying his previous experience across the financial services, automotive industry, and research sector, he drives development both internally and with partners. Sebastian holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Sciences and has been part of several Open Source Software Development projects as both engineer and educator.
Mel McCann, Vice President of Engineering at the Cardano Foundation, leads the Enterprise Technology Division. He ensures Cardano is developed and promoted as a secure, transparent, and accountable solution for positive global change. Mel focuses on innovation, development and education to drive the adoption of the Cardano blockchain and upgrade the legacy systems of the world. He believes that distributed ledger technology is poised to set the new standard for social and economic inclusion worldwide.
Hayashida has over 20 years of experience in traditional finance, with over 10 years of experience mainly in Commodities Derivatives at Goldman Sachs, BNP Paribas and Merrill Lynch.
Hayashida also has over 10 years of experience in private equity fund management focusing on corporate investments at all stages.
Frederik Gregaard is CEO of the Cardano Foundation, an independent, Swiss-based not-for-profit organization tasked with advancing the public digital infrastructure Cardano, while also contributing to the positive advancement of blockchain as a world-changing technology. A leader in fintech and blockchain, Gregaard has a background in banking, wealth management, and asset management.
Nikhil Joshi is the Chief Operating Officer at EMURGO, the official commercial arm and a founding entity of the Cardano blockchain. As COO, Nikhil is responsible for execution of the group’s strategy and supporting business growth across its Fintech, Media, Education and Investment business units. Nikhil spent over 15 years in investment banking in London and Singapore, including much time working with securitizations and asset tokenization projects. He then spent time looking at trade finance and supply chain use cases, as well as working with a variety of blockchain Web3 projects in Southeast Asia.
